Our range of heavy duty castors covers loading from 250kg up to 5000kg per castor.

Wheel options include Nylon, Cast Iron and Cast Iron PU in diameters of 100mm up to 400mm.

Our extra heavy duty range is available in single or twin wheel configuration with directional & thumb lock systems.

XX SERIES CASTORS

Wheel:

Cast Iron hub with a non-marking Polyurethane tyre (fitted with precision ball bearings)
Shore Hardness - 92A +/- 3
Temperature range: -20°C to +50°C.

Housing:

Welded steel construction, galvanised, double ball race swivel head with grease nipple.

Applications
Heavy duty applications where there is a requirement for high static loads. These castors offer Low rolling resistance, High wear resistance and great chemical resistance. Polyurethane wheels are non-marking and ideal for applications with sensitive flooring.

Also available with Nylon, High Temperature Nylon or Nylon Polyurethane wheels

22 SERIES - HEAVY DUTY CASTORS

Housing:

Sourced from a leading manufacturer of castor assemblies in Italy. Manufactured and tested in accordance with EN standards. CAD files are available on request.

Heavy duty, zinc plated, pressed steel housings with double ball race crown; assembled with

high tensile 8.8 grade hex. kingpin bolt and nut for loads up to 1000kg per castor (3000kg per set of 4).

Shore Hardness - 92A +/- 3
Temperature range: -20°C to +50°C.

Custom wheels types can be manufactured and fitted on request - load ratings may be affected.

TH SERIES CASTORS

The pinless TH series heavy duty castors consisting of a heavy steel top plate assembly with double welded side plates, gives an assembly of great strength for loads up to 1000kg per castor (3000kg per set of 4).

It is almost impossible to separate the bearing assembly as long as the hardened and ground nickel chrome balls are in position in the precision machined ball track.

The balls are also capable of carrying a substantial radial and axial thrust.

The absence of a centre pin eliminates one more wearing surface which is a great advantage from a maintenance point of view.

8mm Base Plate & 6mm Fork thickness.

This range is customisable to match application specific specifications.

STC TOWING CASTORS

Ideal for tow trailers, heavy cargo trucks, light maintenance platforms, jigs, Gantries, etc.

This range has been developed for severe conditions encountered in powered towing, where high dynamic and static loads are experienced. Single castor loads up to 5000kg.

The swivel assembly consists of a lower precision angular thrust bearing and an upper, larger thrust bearing, capable of withstanding any combination of radial and thrust loads. The main stem has a thread adjustment, allowing for preload settings. Sealing the bearings reduces maintenance.

Legs are made of 8mm to 16mm plate, securely welded to the housing.

Wheels are fitted with deep groove precision ball bearings or taper bearings, depending on the application.

Available with a single or twin wheel configuration, in Swivel, Swivel Locking or fixed forks

Castors can be fitted with 90 Degree directional locks on request.
